This Shipping Policy explains how shipping, delivery, insurance, and carrier coordination are handled for purchases made through NY Elizabeth auctions, private sales, and direct purchases.
By bidding on or purchasing any item, you agree to this Shipping Policy in addition to our Terms & Conditions.
NY Elizabeth operates internationally. Items may ship from one of the following locations, depending on where the consigned item is held:
The ship-from location is determined by the item’s location at the time of sale and cannot be changed by the buyer.
Most orders ship within ten (10) to fifteen (15) business days after payment has fully cleared, unless otherwise stated on the invoice or listing.

Items are shipped via insured third-party carriers, which may include:
Carrier selection is determined by destination, item value, size, regulatory requirements, and operational considerations.
If you pay for your purchase through LiveAuctioneers, shipping is processed using LiveAuctioneers’ own shipping labels and systems.
Important notes regarding LiveAuctioneers shipments:
For shipment status or tracking updates on LiveAuctioneers-paid orders, buyers must contact LiveAuctioneers directly.
Carrier insurance may be limited and subject to carrier terms.
If you require insurance coverage, you must notify us in writing before shipment. The buyer is responsible for covering any additional insurance costs, if applicable.
NY Elizabeth does not automatically obtain supplemental insurance on a buyer’s behalf unless expressly stated on the invoice.
NY Elizabeth is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged shipments once an item has been tendered to a third-party carrier.
If a shipment is lost or damaged:
NY Elizabeth will provide shipment documentation when reasonably available but does not control carrier claim outcomes.
Paintings and framed artworks shipped from our UK facility may, upon request and at the buyer’s expense, be prepared using:
Crating or special packing requests must be made in writing prior to shipment. Additional preparation time and costs will apply.
NY Elizabeth does not offer in-person pickup at any of its facilities.
If a buyer arranges their own bonded, insured, or specialized courier:

These charges are not included in the hammer price, buyer’s premium, or shipping cost unless expressly stated on the invoice.
Buyers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

NY Elizabeth is not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete address information.
Shipping and tracking records are retained for up to sixty (60) days from the shipment date. After that period, records may no longer be available.
